Protein bars can be quite expensive and often full of hidden nasties. These homemade bars, courtesy of one of my favourite foodies Anna Sward, are super easy to make and truly delish.
1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
2 TBS coconut flour
1/4 cup goji berries
1.5 TBS Peanut or any other nut butter
1/8 cup 100% raw cacao powder
1/4 cup coconut milk or almond milk
1/2 TBS agave or sweetener of choice such as 1/2 TSP Stevia (yes teaspoon not tablespoon)
Put all ingredients a food processor, or bowl with a hand help blender.
Process together to form paste.
Take paste out and form into large ball on a cutting board.
Flatten down and smooth out into a large square.
With a knife cut into strips or small bars.
Leave in fridge until you are ready to eat. Or wrap in foil and take on the go.
